Why Buy Designer Children’s Clothing?

I understand that parents like their children to be in trendy clothing but I must admit that it boggles my mind about how much parents will pay for designer children’s clothes. In most cases, children’s designer clothes cost just as much or more than adult clothing. The difference between paying that much for adult clothing and children’s clothing is that adults have pretty much stopped growing and changing, unlike children who can sometimes go through one or two sizes in less than six months. Take baby rompers for instance, it is rare that they get tore up because the baby is rarely in them for more than a month or two.
I have even seen cases where parents have bought designer childrens clothes and the child never got to wear the outfit because they had grown so much before getting to wear it. Now do not get me wrong, some of the children’s designer clothes are so cute that I would love to buy them for my child as well and in some cases I might splurge and do it occasionally but for the most part it really seems like a huge waste of money.
